Description:

SAP is looking for a passionate Java Full Stack Developer to join their Software Design and Development team, contributing to state-of-the-art cloud-based solutions in SAP Asset Performance Management (APM). APM helps organizations optimize industrial asset performance through real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and AI-powered insights.

In this role, you will design and develop high-quality, scalable, and reliable software applications. You’ll apply clean code principles, contribute to automation testing, and actively participate in architectural discussions and development cycles. Collaboration is key, as you will closely work with architects, senior developers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based SaaS products using modern JavaScript UI stacks and Java backends.
• Apply software development best practices: code reviews, performance tuning, and unit testing.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers for design and code reviews.
• Write and execute automation tests to ensure product quality.
• Document technical designs and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and deliver features efficiently.

Requirements:

• 1–4 years of experience in software design and development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript-based UI frameworks (UI5 preferred).
• Experience with cloud-native applications and microservices/micro-frontend architecture.
• Solid understanding of UML, ORM, and design patterns.
• Experience in Git workflows, Cloud Foundry, Git Actions, and CI/CD pipelines (BTP stack is a plus).
• Good knowledge of performance profiling tools such as Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Gen-AI/ML capabilities is an added advantage.
